Converting cars into electric vehicles has been an ongoing hobby of mine since high school. As a freshman in high school, I bought a 1974 VW Superbeetle as my first project and my dad, sister, and I spent the next few years restoring it and eventually converting it into an electric vehicle. Since then we also completed a conversion of a Porsche 914 and are currently working on a Datsun 280z.
